Once you've finished building your pieces, they will need to dry slowly and naturally for about 10 days. After that, your ceramics will go through a two-step firing process in the kiln:
First firing at 900°C – this is when your creation becomes a solid ceramic piece, though it remains porous at this stage.
Second firing at 1250°C – your piece will be glazed and then fired again, creating a finished, non-porous ceramic work.
